Run Vreyin, Run

To say I am proud of this piece is understatement. I am looking back on myself now, doing the lineart and the two days it took to finish it and the day and a half it took to color it and I am just like....how did I ever think I would put a background on this at any point is beyond me.

When I first saw Vreyin, I thought "Wow, she's beautiful and stunning," and I never thought I would be able to pull off those colors and the scales... Praise to the design, it's lovely and was a joy to see slowly build from head to tail to wings. The colors just bounce so well around her and she's a joy to look at.

I was originally planning to flip the image but by the time I noticed the scars, I had already colored a 1/3 of it and I was just like...well, damn.

I always said Avians always seem to pull me out of art slumps and well...it still holds true.
