I adore my new fish. I am not sure why but recently I've really gotten into aquariums. At first it was just a few goldish but now I am raising a pleco. That is one spoiled fish. Between his/her childhood tank, a water heater, thermometer, decor, water prep, filter, sinking food, blood worms, squash, and algae pellets....my word...it was well over a hundred dollars. But it's just so awesome and something I've always wanted to do. I kind of bought it, thinking his was different breed that stayed small, on accident but once I did a little research...I had to keep him/her. Once upon a time I dreamed to have a large aquarium with wonderful fish. Now I shall!
EDIT: R.I.P. Plato
He died last night. He hadn't been eating and developed ick. I'd been trying to treat him but I can't make the little guy eat. Once the tank has been reprepped, I will try again.
RE-EDIT:
I recently got some new fish for my tank, had my water tested before buying and everything is going great. My new pleco is eating and exhibiting normal behavior. I haven't named it yet but I did get three little tropical fish to accompany him in the tank. My goldfish are still doing awesome as well. It's nice to have healthy fish again. <3
