Without you I'd be lost, distant and broken. It's like a dance, sometimes I left your arms, but somehow I always wound back within your embrace. It was safe, secure and warm. Stepping away from you, I always knew you were right behind me, ready to catch me if I fell and sweep me off my feet. I was light, spinning and prancing through life, no obstacle blocking my dreams that carried our pace could halt the motion.

You make my life perfect, when it had been so tormented.

Without you, I'd be so cold and afraid. The shadows that once crept into my mind, slowly were driven away. Those thoughts that griped my nightmares tightly eased their grasp and there you were, hand out reached to shelter me. Within your love no evil could hurt me. There was no fear in your heart, against your form.

You are the one I cherish beside me, when no one else could come near.

Without you, I would be content sleeping alone. Yet once you came, there was only comfort in the darkness when you were next to me. I smiled, as you slept - praying you would be there each day when I awoke. Every morning started beautifully. My head on you, I could listen to you breathe and knew, if my demons came for me you'd hold me close until they left.
