Well, I compt out on the background it was just too much. I want to move onto other things and this has stolen too many of my days - dang it I am going to see 9 without unfinished pieces, bah! I will upload the lineart into scraps if anyone is interested in coloring this amazingly designed avian. One day I will draw them all, >.<;; eventually.

Wowzers I can't believe I didn't see this 'til just now.
This image is pretty impressive when you get right down to it, I feel emotion without having to see any sort of facial expression, and that's pretty hard to do a lot of the time. Even with his head not shown in the image I see him as his proud, powerful, vain... and yet thoughtful self. But maybe that's because I know him best ;]
Great job on all of those scales and feathers, especially the coloring and markings. Everything is spot on and can tell that you put a lot of effort into this.
