She sat in the gardens of Asres, enjoying the sunlight of late summer and the cool breeze drifting south from Waterrealm. He guard stood close by, idly swinging Tranquility on his index finger - his gaze never leaving the purple dragon to his right. The Princess let her eyes wander, catching the glimpse of a white butterfly fluttering in her direction. She carefully lifted one of her feathers to meet it mid flight, letting the insect settle there trustingly.

"I envy you," she whispered to it, "Free to fly and live your life without ever having to know the troubles that surround you. Even if everything went to Chaos and all good died...I bet you wouldn't mind...would you?"

Well, this took about ...ehh...3-4 hours of my day away but here is another piece for the calender. I wrote a little blurb for this one only because...I could . XD
